A 12-day/11-night trip designed for women who want to discover Peru through the women who bring it to life: artists, cooks, weavers, farmers… From Lima to Paracas, from the Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu and Cusco, this women-only tour blends culture, nature, encounters, and moments of solitude. Qhanati coordinates every detail from Switzerland, with its local teams on the ground.

Highlights of the trip
  • Lima, between art and women's history : visit to the historic center (Plaza de Armas, cathedral, San Francisco convent and its catacombs), then to the Lima Art Museum (MALI) which highlights the artistic expressions of women throughout the history of the country.

  • A chef in Barranco : a stroll through the market, a selection of local products followed by a cooking class and lunch at a Limeña cook's apartment in the bohemian district of Barranco, with a pisco sour to start.

  • Paracas, desert and ocean : southbound, golden dunes, buggy and sandboarding in the desert, night by the sea.

  • The Ballestas Islands: boat trip among birds, penguins, sea lions and the famous "Candelabra" geoglyph, before returning to Lima.

  • Sacred Valley: Pisac & hacienda : discover the village of Pisac, its crafts, then lunch in a traditional hacienda where we talk about agriculture, giant white corn and local cuisine.

  • Ccorccor : a community of women weavers: a day in the community of Ccorccor, where we are welcomed by families of shepherds and weavers, with songs, dances, games with the children, introduction to textiles and Andean customs, then a picnic on the edge of the Piuray lagoon.

  • Machu Picchu : panoramic train journey, bus ride up and guided tour of the citadel at sunrise or in the golden light of the afternoon, with time to simply experience the place.

  • Cusco, city of artisans : walks between Koricancha, Plaza de Armas, cathedral, cobbled streets and San Blas district, full of workshops and small shops.

  • Hike to Huchuy Qosqo : accessible walk to the Huchuy Qosqo site, “Little Cusco”, picnic with products from the Sacred Valley and descent via an Inca path through a forest of native trees.

Route overview
  • Day 1 – Lima
    Arrival in Lima, welcome and private transfer to the hotel. Evening at leisure.

  • Day 2 – Lima
    Visit to the colonial city (Plaza de Armas, cathedral, convent of San Francisco) then discovery of the Lima Art Museum (MALI) and its collection highlighting the works of women over time.

  • Day 3 – Lima
    Gastronomic experience in the Barranco district: local market, product selection, cooking class and lunch at a Peruvian chef's house.

  • Day 4 – Lima → Paracas
    Drive south with guide and private vehicle, discovery of the Paracas desert and buggy ride on the dunes, possibility of sandboarding, overnight in Paracas.

  • Day 5 – Paracas → Lima
    Boat trip to the Ballestas Islands to observe marine wildlife and the Candelabra geoglyph. Free time in Paracas, then return to Lima.

  • Day 6 – Lima → Cusco → Sacred Valley
    Flight to Cusco, direct transfer to the Sacred Valley, visit to the village of Pisac, its craft market, and lunch in a family hacienda. Overnight in the valley.

  • Day 7 – Sacred Valley
    Day in the Ccorccor community: meeting with the weavers, discovering textiles, games, traditions, preparing chicha, then picnic at the Piuray lagoon.

  • Day 8 – Sacred Valley → Machu Picchu
    Panoramic train to the village at the foot of the site, bus ride up and guided tour of Machu Picchu, lunch in a local restaurant, overnight stay in Machu Picchu Pueblo.

  • Day 9 – Machu Picchu → Cusco
    Free morning (possibility of optional activities or a second access, depending on the version chosen), then return train to the Sacred Valley and transfer to Cusco.

  • Day 10 – Cusco
    Walking tour of Cusco: Koricancha, churches of the Plaza de Armas, the 12-angled stone, viewpoint on San Blas and a stroll through the artisans' quarter.

  • – Cusco & Huchuy Qosqo
    Day hike to Huchuy Qosqo, exploring the site, picnic with products from the Sacred Valley, descent to the village of Lamay and return to Cusco.

  • Day 12 – Cusco → departure
    Free time according to your schedule, then transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima and your international connection.
