An 11-day/10-night itinerary designed for families: Lima and its fun museums, villages and animals of the Sacred Valley, creative workshops with children, exploration of Machu Picchu and the charming streets of Cusco. Highlights of the trip
  • Lima told to children : visit of the city, discovery of the cathedral, a historic convent and the Larco museum with a playful experience around the “gods of ancient Peru”, adapted for the youngest.

  • Sea trip with sea lions : sailing to the islands off Lima, observing birds, penguins… and the possibility of swimming (for those who wish) with the sea lions – a guaranteed memory for children.

  • First encounter with the Andes : in the Sacred Valley, visit to a textile center where you can feed llamas & alpacas, and discover how wool is woven and dyed in the old way.

  • Creative day : ceramics workshop inspired by pre-Columbian cultures, where each child (and parent!) creates their own piece to take home.

  • Peruvian Paso horse show : riding demonstration, music, and lunch at a hacienda in the middle of the valley.

  • The magic of Machu Picchu : panoramic train ride, bus ride and guided tour of the citadel with explanations understandable for children.

  • Cusco as a playground : markets, small alleyways, Inca sites, viewpoints, and a day in the nearby countryside (Tipón, local communities, easy walks).

Route overview
  • Day 1 – Lima: arrival, private welcome, transfer to the hotel, rest.

  • Day 2 – Lima: Discover the city and the Larco Museum with an experience specially designed for families.

  • Day 3 – Lima: Boat trip to the islands off Lima, observation of marine animals and possibility to swim with sea lions.

  • Day 4 – Lima → Sacred Valley: flight to Cusco then direct transfer to the Sacred Valley, visit to a textile center with llamas & alpacas, lunch at a hacienda.

  • Day 5 – Sacred Valley: ceramics workshop, family lunch and Paso horse show, discovery of Ollantaytambo.

  • Day 6 – Sacred Valley: additional day excursion in the valley (villages, markets, viewpoints) with free time.

  • Day 7 – Sacred Valley → Machu Picchu: panoramic train to the village at the foot of the site, guided tour of Machu Picchu, overnight stay or return to Cusco depending on the option chosen.

  • Day 8 – Cusco: city tour suitable for families (main sites of the city, market, emblematic districts).

  • Day 9 – Cusco: day in the surrounding countryside (communities, easy walk, discovery of water, terraces and Inca engineering).

  • Day 10 – Cusco → Lima: return flight to Lima, free time or last walk depending on your schedule.

  • Day 11 – Departure: transfer to the airport for your international flight.
